Magnetic Fields of Moving Solenoids and Special Relativity

Abstract

On the basis of the relativistic covariance principle, are calculated the magnetic fields of nearly infinite solenoids moving respectively in parallel and perpendicular directions to their axis. Then, the results obtained are simply combined for an arbitrary velocity of a similar solenoid.
