Abstract
An effective analysis of electromagnetic bandgap structure of E-uniplane corrugated rectangular waveguide by the finite difference time domain (FDTD) of wave equation is presented in this paper. It is demonstrated that the presented method is effective by the good agreement between the data obtained from the conventional FDTD and ones from our presented. The characteristics of the E-uniplane corrugated waveguide show that both very wide selectable stop-band and pass-band are available when the parameters of the ripples are changed.
