Abstract
This paper studies the propagation of solitons through an optical fiber, with strong dispersion-management, in presence of integro-differential type perturbations including the nonlinear damping. The parameter dynamics of the solitons in presence of such perturbation terms have been obtained. In particular, the Gaussian and super-Gaussian pulses have been considered.
