DETERMINATION OF SAFETY VOLUMES FOR MEDIUM-FREQUENCY EMISSIONS UNDER STANDARD LIMITS OF HUMAN EXPOSURE

Pages 1605-1611 | Published online: 03 Apr 2012

Abstract

The safety volume (SV) of a transmitting antenna is defined so that the human exposure electric and magnetic field limits are not trespassed outside this SV. This paper proposes a five parameter shape of the SV around transmitting antennas for radio broadcasting in the medium frequency band, which is based on near fields computation.
