Optimum Design of Microstrip RF Interconnects

Abstract

A frequency domain approach to efficiently simulate and optimally design of general microwave interconnects is proposed. A suitable error function along with some constrained conditions is defined to determine optimum values of physical parameters of a general RF interconnect. As a special case, a microstrip interconnect is optimized and compared with a conventional microstrip interconnect.
