Novel Design of Dual-Polarization Broad-Band and Dual-Band Printed L-Shaped Probe-Fed Microstrip Patch Antennas

Abstract

A novel design of printed L-shaped probe-fed microstrip patch antenna is presented in this paper. Because of using crossed printed L-shaped probe and air substrate, these kinds of antennas have the advantages of simple structure, easy fabrication and low cost. The details of simulated and measured results for the proposed design are presented and discussed. These antennas can be designed for broad-band dual-band wireless communications applications.
