Abstract

Integrals defined over an infinite range are involved in open-ended coaxial method for measurement of electromagnetic properties of finite-thickness materials, and the efficiency and accuracy of the coaxial method depend, to the greatest degree, on the evaluation of these integrals. A scheme for the evaluation of these integrals is proposed. By asymptotic manipulations of integrands, the infinite range over which the integrals are defined is truncated with preset accuracy. Numerical examples have been provided to verify the validity of the technique.
