Abstract
A novel central symmetric MIMO antenna with cross polarization is proposed and studied. Proposed antenna structure for portable terminals could settle the dilemma for the compatibility among compactness, low correlation and high radiation efficiency. Measurements demonstrate that the capacity is high enough referred to the performance four dipole antennas; the correlation is extremely low around 0.1. These good characteristics prove that the proposed antenna can provide high capacity to combat with multipath fading and deliver higher data rates.
