Abstract
This paper presents a novel method for the design of dual band power divider, which features variable division ratio, optional frequency-independent output in-/reverse-phase performance and excellent isolation. Closed-form design equations can be obtained by using transmission line theory. In order to verify the validity of the technique, two dual band power dividers with different division ratios of 1 : 1 and 2 : 1 are designed, simulated and fabricated. The simulated and measured results are compared.
