Algunas reflexiones sobre la psicosociolingüística: la interrelación entre la lingüística y la psicología social

Resumen

El presente artículo pretende plantear algunas reflexiones sobre la lingüística y la psicología social a raiz de la reciente aparición del texto Psicosociolingüística de la profesora Maria Jose Azurmendi. Aquí se plantea, desde una visión crítica, la necesidad de tener en cuenta los recientes aportes tanto de la lingüística (la búsqueda de lo que hay «mas allá de la sentencia») como de la psicología social (la búsqueda del contexto social) que ya estaban en el origen de ambas disciplinas. A través de la revisión de los cinco apartados de los que consta el texto, se realiza un análisis crítico de dicha interrelación. Finalmente, desde la psicología social, se plantean algunas ideas para superar la «falta de lenguaje» que esta disciplina ha sufrido.

Abstract

The present article seeks to outline some reflections on the relationship between linguistics and social psychology, soon after the publication of the text Psicosociolingüística by professor María José Azurmendi. Here I reflect, from a critical perspective, on the necessity to keep in mind the recent contributions both of linguistics (“the search of what there is beyond the sentence») and of social psychology (the search of the social context) that were already present in the origin of both disciplines. Through the revision of the five sections that constitute the text, a critical analysis of this interrelation is carried out. Finally, I adopt a social psychologist's point of view to propose some ideas in order to overcome the language lack that this discipline has suffered.
