Harold H. Kelley died last January at the age of 81. His contributions to the field of Social Psychology had a deep impact mainly in attribution theory, though it is important to remember his establishment of Interdependence Theory (with Thibaut), along with his studies of persuasive communications (with Hovland and Janis), his interest in applied Social Psychology and his late dedication to the study of interpersonal relations.
