Representaciones sociales o la orientación hermenéutica en la Psicología

Resumen

En este trabajo se va a intentar determinar la utilidad de las representaciones sociales para la Psicología. Para ello, en primer lugar se analizan las metodologías más utilizadas para su estudio, destacando la técnica del análisis del discurso, técnica que se aplica a un texto deJodelet en el que se define la entidad de las representaciones sociales.

De este estudio se concluye que la noción de representación social que se maneja en la comunidad científica es difusa y poco operativa, por lo que, en primer lugar, se propone una definición alternativa, y en segundo lugar se procede a dividirla en tres entidades: construcciones representacionales, construcciones personales y construcciones circunstanciales. Señalando finalmente su constitución semiótica que incorpora tanto al lenguaje como a las prácticas sociales.

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to determine the utility of the Social Representations for the Psychology. Some methodologies used are analyzed, it can be pointed out one named Discourse Analysis. This technique is applied to a Jodele's text in which is defined the entity of Social Representations.

Our study suggest that the notion of Social Representations managed in the scientific community is vague and not much operative. Therefore, two tasks are performed on one hand an alternating definition is proposed on the other hand three wide categories are employed: Reprensentational Construtions, Personal Constructions and Circunstantial Constructions. Finally, it is shown its semiotic constitution that is incorporated to the language and social practices.
