Resumen

El trabajo que presentaremos a continuación está basado en dos investigaciones realizadas en la Comunidad Autónoma Vasca (C.A.V.), las cuales tienen cómo objetivo el proceso de aprendizajey adquisición de segundas lenguas en contacto, en nuestro caso el euskera, en educación adulta e infantil, respectivamente. El objeto de este trabajo consiste en analizar cuáles son las principales variables motivacionales y comportamentales que influyen en la elección del Modelo D (totalmente en euskera). A través de dos muestras diferentes se pretende analizar cuáles son las relaciones principales existentes entre la actitud y el uso del euskera. Los resultados indican que las orientaciones motivacionales que más directamente influyen a la hora de elegir el Modelo D son aquellas relacionadas con la integración y participación en la sociedad y en la cultura vascas.

Abstract

The work presented below is based on two investigations carried out in the Basque Autonomous Community. They are focused on the learning process and the acquisition of second languages in contact, specifically the Basque language, in adult and child education, respectively. Our intention is to analyze the main variables, motivational as well as behavioural, that influence the choice of the D Education Model (totally in Basque). Selecting as our target variables the attitude towards and the use of the Basque language, it is found that the motivational orientations most closely related to the choice of the D Education Model are those related to the integration and participation in Basque culture and society.
