Resumen

En este artículo se describen la orientación y líneas de trabajo del Centro de Investigación Social y Educativa (CREA), donde se llevan a cabo proyectos de investigación para el desarrollo teórico y práctico de las ciencias sociales centrándose en el análisis de la sociedad actual, su problemática y las medidas que contribuyan a resolverla, con especial atención en el ámbito de la educación y la formación. Se parte de las teorías que se inscriben dentro de la perspectiva crítica-comunicativa y de autores como Habermas, Beck, Castells o Giddens; entre los desarrollos teóricos propios (inteligencia cultural, aprendizaje dialógico, igualdad de las diferencias…), cabe destacar la metodología comunicativa.

Abstract

In this paper, orientations and guidelines of CREA's works are pointed out. Through its research projects, CREA is contributing to the theoretical and practical development of Social Sciences. Concretely, we focused on the analysis of present-day society, the problems and also the measures which will have to be adopted in order to solve them, paying special attention to the educational and training field. For this reason, we part from those theories within the critical-communicative perspective held by authors such as Habermas, Beck, Castells or Giddens. Among our own theoretical developments (cultural intelligence, dialogic learning, equality of differences…), the communicative methodology should be highlighted.
