La cosmovisión cultural de género del profesorado de Secundaria

Resumen

En este artículo se presenta un estudio empírico sobre cómo los profesores de Enseñanza Secundaria perciben e interpretan la cultura de género. El Enfoque Socioculturaly la Teoría Ecológica de Bronfenbrenner sirven de referentes teóricos en esta investigación. Los resultados muestran diferentes visiones de la realidad de género y se identifican variables asociadas a las mismas. Se hallan diferencias entre sexo y percepción cultural de género.

Abstract

An empirical research study on how Secondary Education teachers perceive and understand gender culture is described. The study's theoretical approach is based on socio-cultural theory and Bronfenbrenner's ecological paradigm. The results reveal teachers' different views of gender reality, and the variables associated to each socio-cultural view of gender are identified. Sex and gender perception differences were also found.
