Resumen

Este artículo presenta resultados derivados de un proyecto de investigación de excelencia subvencionado por la Junta de Andalucía. El propósito de este artículo es analizar las competencias del profesorado para reconocer indicadores de desigualdad en educación. Para ello, realizamos un estudio descriptivo de tipo encuesta, utilizando una escala de valoración. Participan en el estudio 324 profesores de Andalucía. Los resultados muestran que el profesorado tiene más dificultades para reconocer indicadores relacionados con las políticas de igualdad y el lenguaje no sexista. Asimismo, los profesores muestran menos competencias en el reconocimiento de la desigualdad que las profesoras.

Abstract

The paper presents the results of a research project, subsidised by the Andalusia Government, analysing teachers' competencies to recognise indicators of inequality between men and women in education. For this purpose, we carried out a descriptive survey study, applying an assessment scale. 324 teachers from Andalucía participated in the study. The results show that teachers have more difficulties to recognise indicators related to gender equality policies and non-sexist language. In addition, male teachers showed fewer competencies for recognising inequality indicators than female teachers.
