Abstract

The problem of ill-treatment and abuse among students, within the school, is a question to date seldom studied; however, it is getting more concerning given the high rates of juvenile violence observed. For those of us who take an interest in the educational processes' analysis, this subject is of great relevance since it raises challenges that go beyond school's contents' learning, approaching the complex matter of the students' affective and moral life. We believe that studying these problems demands, first of all, setting up a conceptual posture which analyzes the framework of those factors that affect it. Thus in this article we intend to identify how we understand the relations between affectivity, moral and interpersonal contact with others. In the analysis we herein present, the classroom draws great relevance as the setting in which relations among equals attain a great part of their affective and moral character, thanks to the bonds and experiences which take place within it.
