A Critical Review of the Literature on the Treatment of Sacroiliac Joint Syndromes

Abstract

A critical review of the literature on the treatment of sacroiliac joint syndromes revealed the use of a large number of techniques, with many incompletely described. There were relatively few results of research into the effectiveness of these various techniques. More comprehensive descriptions of treatment regimes would be helpful and more randomized controlled clinical trials of these techniques are needed.
