Abstract

In this work, we investigate the immersive presentation of three‐dimensional content using real‐time multi‐view projection from a conventional PC hardware platform. By combining the available graphics capability of a modern workstation with an established, low‐cost technique for multi‐view image separation, we present a technique for real‐time, interactive virtual reality content presentation. We present a number of potential imaging applications with exemplar results the medical, engineering, geo‐spatial and educational domains.
