Abstract

Nd³⁺:LaSc₃(BO₃)₄ nanocrystallines have been synthesized by the homogeneous precipitation method and characterized by X-ray diffraction, which belong to R32 space group. The TEM result shows that the obtained Nd³⁺:LaSc₃(BO₃)₄ nanocrystallines have 30–50 nm sizes. The fluorescence spectrum of the Nd³⁺:LaSc₃(BO₃)₄ nanocrystallites is similar to that of the bulk crystal.
