Anwen Cooper

Anwen Cooper is the prehistoric researcher on the English Landscapes and Identities (EngLaId) project. Her doctoral research was a critical multi-stranded study of British archaeology from 1975–2010. Prior to this she worked as a site director at Cambridge Archaeological Unit, undertaking and publishing the results of a major landscape-scale excavation at Broom in Bedfordshire. Chris Green

Chris Green is the GIS researcher on the EngLaId project. His research interests lie in representing temporality in GIS, with a particular focus on handling the uncertainties inherent in most (arguably all) archaeological dates. Contact: [email protected]

Zena Kamash

Zena Kamash is the Roman researcher on the EngLaId project. Before undertaking her doctoral research, she worked at Oxford Archaeology. She is also Director of Studies in Archaeology at Magdalen College, University of Oxford. Contact: [email protected]

Letty ten Harkel

Letty ten Harkel is EngLaId’s early medieval researcher. Her research interests are divided between interdisciplinary analyses of early medieval landscapes and identities in the southern North Sea and English Channel regions and the material culture of early medieval towns, in particular during the period of Scandinavian settlement. She is currently also a weekly class tutor at the Department of Continuing Education in Oxford. Contact: [email protected]
