Abstract

This conference, organised by the Institute of Materials Minerals and Mining, took place on 9–12 May 2005 at the International Convention Centre in Birmingham, UK and was attended by over 300 delegates from 27 countries. The technical programme covered the full spectrum of electric arc furnace technology, new plant developments and environmental issues.
