Tom Blockeel kindly gave his thoughts on my initial feelings about the identification of the Pembrokeshire Entosthodon and provided helpful comments as I proceeded with examination of herbarium specimens. Two anonymous referees provided valuable comments on the taxonomic usefulness of individual leaf characters, and one also gave information on the ecology of the two species in Iberia.
