Abstract

Single tracings of cephalographs involve errors of the kind known as errors of a single measurement. An analysis of these errors has shown that they are of a high order even when cephalographs are traced by experienced orthodontists. The significance of these findings is discussed and a method of reducing errors by replication of tracings is described.
