Pages 197-199 | Published online: 21 Jun 2016

Abstract

Changes in the occlusion following labial alveolar osteotomy in 11 patients are described. Alterations in overbite, overjet and inter-canine width which occurred up to 9 years after operation are recorded. Relapse of more than 1 mm was not seen, except in two cases where a complete overbite was not achieved. Relapse in these cases was limited to the first year after operation.
