Abstract

When a transplant is planned it is usual for the surgery to be the final procedure and for all tooth movements to have been completed. Ideally, the precise amount of space required for the transplant is collected in the required position. This case illustrates the possibility for further correction. A transplanted canine was moved about 2·5 mm along the line of the arch after it had been transplanted.
