William Robinson — An Artist of Distinction

Abstract

In his day William Robinson was a renowned, popular, and talented artist, patronized by many distinguished persons, including members of the Royal family. At the present time very little is known about him apart from the fact that at one time he gave painting lessons to Branwell Brontë. This article is a brief outline of his life and work.
