Vacuum Forceps or Removing Small Fragments of Tissue From Fluids

Pages 175-176 | Published online: 18 Jul 2013

Abstract

The construction and use of vacuum forceps for removing small fragments of tissue specimens from fluids is described. With the utilization of vacuum pressure the specimens are obtained from fluids onto a piece of lens paper without directly handling them. Incidents with forceps and other instruments which may cause problems are minimized and smaller specimens are processed more rapidly.
