A Case of Eosinophilic Granuloma: Confirmation by Immunohistochemistry

Pages 159-162 | Published online: 18 Jul 2013

Abstract

Eosinophilic granuloma is a clinical entity that is relatively easy to diagnose. If confirmation beyond routine tinctorial staining is required, a panel of irnmunohistochemical markers is a cheaper and faster alternative to electron microscopy. (The J Histotechnol 11:159, 1988.)
