Immunohistochemical Staining of Estrogen Receptor in Metastatic Male Breast Cancer

Pages 273-274 | Published online: 18 Jul 2013

Abstract

A tumor mass in the brain was examined for estrogen receptor positive cells with immunocytochemical techniques. A small percentage of the tumor cells showed cytoplasmic positivity, confirming the origin of the tumor from a previously diagnosed breast carcinoma. (The J Histotechnol 11:273, 1988).
