Two Years Experience with an Automatic Coverslipper: Problems and Solutions

Abstract

Two years experience in the use of an automated, robotic coverslipper in a histology laboratory is reported. After initial problems involving operation, maintenance, and air bubble artifact, this type of operation appears to provide advantages from standpoints of quality, personnel relief, cost reductions, and capital investment.
