The Regulatory Function of Implicit Axioms in Thought and Action

Abstract

This review is an inquiry into philosophical theology and psychology. The problem is not the quest for truth or the definition of it. Rather, the purpose of the inquiry is an interdisciplinary review of the possibilities locating the site of those regulative devices the implicit axioms, that exercise a steering function in our thoughts and actions, regulations which we tend to perceive as truth.
