Abstract
The relationships of D. calcareum Broth. and D. subbrachycarpum (C. Muell.) Par., to D. brachycarpum Hampe, and of this species to D. difficile (Duby) Fleischer and D. rufo-aureum (Hampe) Willis are discussed. On the basis of comparable habit, leaf morphology, leaf cells and sectional anatomy, and similarities of the type descriptions, D. subbrachycarpum, with its synonym D. calcareum, are synonymized with D. brachycarpum.
