Abstract
Funaria hygrometrica var. calvescens, Physcomitrium immersum and Entosthodon plano-convexus are reported for the first time from Egypt (Isthmic Desert, Northern Sinai). The last two taxa represent new floristic elements to Egypt because they are disjunctly distributed whereas the 21 Funariaceae taxa reported earlier from Egypt are mainly Mediterranean, cosmopolitan or either endemic.
