Abstract
This submission has been prepared by the New Zealand Society of Physiotherapists, May 1996. It is in response to the to the Clinical Practice Guideline, the discussion document published by the Accident Rehabilitation and Compensation Insurance Corporation (ACC) and the Core Services Committee, now the National Advisory Committee on Health and Disability (National Health Committee) in New Zealand. The New Zealand Clinical Practice Guideline was adopted from U.S. Guideline No. 14 regarding the assessment and treatment of acute low back problems in adults.
