Pages 75-101 | Published online: 20 Nov 2013

Abstract

The aim of this article is to present a preliminary report on an architectural survey of Ramla which took place during the summer of 1992. A total of thirteen Mamluk and Ottoman buildings were recorded which represent a range of architectural types including mosques, tombs and houses. The survey reports are combined with a catalogue of historic buildings which should provide a context for future archaeological work in the city.
