Interim Report on a Geophysical and Surface Survey of Ramla

Abstract

This report describes the results of a short survey carried out as part of the Ramla project. The aims of the survey were to assess the viability of geophysical techniques for detecting sub-surface features at this site and to carry out a surface survey within the same areas. Inside the town the results of the geophysical survey were disappointing, though work on the borders of the town produced evidence of buried archaeological features.
