Recrystallization in Hot Working and Creep

Pages 161-167 | Published online: 18 Jul 2013

Abstract

Experimental evidence indicates that metals may recrystallize during hot working. A model is presented that permits discussion of the influence of this process on stress/strain curves at high strain rates and on the dependence of strain on time for low strain rates (as in creep).
