Abstract

Baseaon a predetermined list of job-related diseases, INAIL makes compensation decisions in cases of work-related diseases in Italy. Its functioning is somewhat ham~ered by imprecision in the disease classification and infrequency of updating the list, as well as rapid turnover of workers in some categories of jobs
