Being Occupational Therapy Volunteers in the Lao People’s Democratic Republic

Abstract

Being an occupational therapy volunteer and providing occupational therapy services in other countries can be very exciting and challenging for an occupational therapist. There are many factors to be considered and planned beforehand. This article explains how to join Handicap International Organisation for voluntary work in Laos, making senses of work objectives, travelling to Vientiane, and occupational therapy voluntary services in Friendship Hospital and rural community of Vientiane.
