Abstract
Este articulo presenta una sı´ntesis de varios documentos que muestran como se ha desarrollado la experiencia de Exa´menes de Calidad de la Educacio´n Superior (ECAES) en Terapia Ocupacional en Colombia. Estos exa´menes son aplicados de forma obligatoria desde el an˜ o 2003,por una entidad del Estado, a todos los estudiantes que cursan el u´ ltimo semestre de Terapia Ocupacional. Este articulo incluye los antecedentes, la construccio´n de la prueba, las reflexiones prospectivas de la experiencia en cuanto a: instituciones, formacio´n profesional-currı´culo,docentes-estudiantes, prueba ECAES- calidad de la educacio´n y conclusiones y recomendaciones
This article presents a documentary synthesis that describes an examination experience developed in Colombia for occupational therapy undergraduate students: Quality of Higher Education Exam (ECAES). This exam, compulsory for all higer education students, is given by a national agency since 2003. Therefore, all occupational therapy students must take it in the last semester of their senior year. This article includes background, test construction, and prospective reflections of the experience related to: institutions, professional education-curriculum, professors-students, ECAES test- quality of education and conclusions and the recommendations.
