Abstract
Objective: to describe the German Occupational Therapy Assessment (OTA) with its structure, clinical and metric properties, relation to the ICF and usefulness for practitioners.
Methods: Seven studies with more than 1,400 participants as well as two projects for linking the OTA items to the ICF codesare briefly reported.
Results: Clinical and metric properties of the OTA are moderate to excellent. The linking of the OTA-items to the ICF-codesis useful for practitioners in German speaking countries.
Conclusion: The results suggest a transfer of the OTA to the context of other countries.
