Evidence-Based Practice

Three Canadian resources for evidence-based practice

Pages 43-45 | Published online: 19 Nov 2014

Abstract

Three evidence-based practice resources from Canada are described. The first, the Canadian Joint Position Statement on Evidence-based Occupational Therapy provides an introduction to thinking about occupation-focused, client centred evidence-based practice. The StrokEngine presents easy to read reviews of evidence specific to rehabilitation for stroke-related problems. The third, the Knowledge to Action Process model puts forward a procedure for taking action to implement evidence in practice.
