1996 PM World Congress in Washington, DC

Abstract

Dr JOSEPH M. CAPUS gives a flavour of the largest gathering of its kind in history, the 1996 World Congress on Powder Metallurgy and Particulate Materials (PM²Tec'96), held in the Sheraton Washington Hotel on 16–21 June. PM²Tec'96 drew an attendance of more than 2100 from 43 countries, including over 500 delegates from 40 countries outside North America. The congress was sponsored by MPIF/APMI and organised by the staff of MPIF with the help of an 82 strong Technical Programme Committee and an International Liaison Committee.
