Abstract
After reviewing the concept of network reliability and the criteria for measuring it, the paper assesses the reliability of a block of Nigeria's Primary Triangulation network. Both the original form of the block and several simulated variants of it are examined. It is observed that the strength of the network can be upgraded by improving the reliability of some measured distances.
