Summary

Serum and synovial fluid concentrations of lincomycin and clindamycin were studied in 18 patients with rheumatoid arthritis. The results show that the serum levels exceed synovial fluid levels, and that adequate minimal inhibitory concentrations of both antibiotics were attained within one hour in the synovial fluid.
