Abstract

In an IS world characterized by high stress and low unemployment, IS executives must not only secure scarce talent but also ensure that staffing patterns optimally meet corporate and IT goals. the staffing model presented here offers a new way of looking at IS culture, bringing IS in tandem with the strategic direction of the organization, and fostering ongoing, global assessment of overall IS performance.
