Abstract
When they are dismissed as after-the-fact formalities, exit interviews are missed opportunities to improve the rate of employee retention. the author of this article has used exit interviews to discover five key issues that attract and keep employees, and he credits the use of these interviews with a decline in his organization's IT turnover rate.
