Strategies for Creating A Learning Organization

 

Abstract

Managers having a hard time turning their organizations into learning ones may be having difficulty because there is more than one way to create a learning organization. Equally confounding is that there is more than one way to define what a learning organization is. This article gives IT managers a working definition of a learning organization along with six strategies for creating one. These strategies may also be used to revitalize an organization's learning initiative.
