Recognizing the Responsibility of A Failed Information Technology Project as A Shared Failure

Abstract

Many of an organization's projects include the use of information technology. If one of these projects fails, it is important that every effort be made to understand the level of responsibility of everyone involved. By recognizing the roles of all parties and understanding where the breakdown occurred, organizations can put mechanisms in place to reduce the likelihood of similar failures.
